THE HIGHEST PASS WINS AN HMMA AWARD!

Much Love and Gratitude. On November 15, 2012 THE HIGHEST PASS won an HMMA honor for BEST SONG FOR AN INDIE. The award was shared between Michael Mollura and Jon Anderson. Mollura composed the music for the song and Jon Anderson composed the lyrics and vocals. Much love to all of you for your support.

THE HIGHEST PASS SCORE NOMINATED FOR TWO HMMA AWARDS!

So pleased to announce that the music score for The Highest Pass was nominated for TWO HMMA (Hollywood Music in Media Awards)for Best Score for an Indie Feature and Best Song for an Indie Feature.

The Highest Pass is a feature documentary film that takes us on an adventure into the Himalayas of India, over sheer icy cliffs, and over the highest road in the world. We follow a daring Yogi who leads 6 others on motorcycles in this physical and spiritual quest to realize that “Only the one who dies, truly lives.”

Visually stunning, we get rare glimpses into this mystical region known as Ladakh. The music, by Michael Mollura, exemplifies this cross genre film, edging us both into the sacred and the daring nature of motorcycling. It’s no wonder Jon Anderson (lead singer of YES) collaborated on two of the main songs in the film, calling the film: “Inspiring and Haunting.”
